Beautiful African inspired swimwear shoot for Russian Vogue (May 2011) shows stunning colourful tribal influences and ethnic prints in beautiful vivid images. The swimwear shown is from; Missoni, Etro and Balenciaga and the shoot was shot in Puerto Rico. I think this editorial is definitely pointing the compass towards North Africa; Tunisia, Morocco etc
Everyone is excited over the June issue of Vogue Italia, it features three beautiful plus size models on the front cover showing off their assets in lovely lingerie pieces from Dolce and Gabbana, Agent Provocateur and Alberta Ferretti. The gorgeous images were shot by photographer Steven Meisel and have been created to promote body diversity and to show the world that the fashion industry isn’t just for the size zero supermodels!
Elle & Cee are one of my favourite lingerie brands around at the moment, there’s a bohemian vibe to a lot of their garments and everything is produced in the UK. They do a lot of limited edition pieces as fabrics and trimmings are often vintage finds!
A fabulous shoot featuring Hannah Holman for Purple Magazine. Its Vintage inspired lingerie oozes sexiness and glamour as well, Holman seems to be channelling a look comparable to a mix between Betty Draper and Marilyn Monroe. The Dolce and Gabbana lingerie set and the Steven Jones for Marc Jacobs lace sunglasses are definitely doing it for me!!

Hopeless Lingerie have launched a new bridal collection named “The Mirror” designed for the new honeymooning bride! However if you aren’t planning on getting married anytime soon, all pieces also come in black as well! This range was inspired by the character Tony in Terry Gilliam’s Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus. The duality of good and evil is explored in this film and this is picked up in the blacktrims and hints of something harder, combined with traditional romantic elements.
